Ad & Marketing Translations

Dijital Tercüme was chosen as an expert translation office who is trained in advertising and presentation by Google Turkey.

It is of great importance for the sustainability, prestige, and brand quality of a company to pay special attention to advertising and publicity. A minor mistake made in the translation of the advertisement to be broadcast on radio, television, or internet can cause irrecoverable material and nonmaterial losses.

It is possible that a word commonly used in a spoken language means something completely different, or perhaps even slang in another language. The content of the translation cannot include any elements that is against the law, rules, and traditions of the target culture. Considering that no company aiming to export would take such a risk, for these kinds of translations, we work with translators who are experts in communication. This area includes not only informative content such as newspapers, magazines, books, booklets, brochures, e-newsletters, news websites and promotion magazines, as well as advertisements on phones, the radio, television, internet, and technical manuals regarding communication. The translation is edited by our editor, who has graduated from a Communication Faculty, in terms of terminology, and is then localized according to the laws and traditions of the country where the advertisement would be broadcast. Additionally, our editor and Turkish Language Association member spellchecks and redacts the translation. Therefore, the text is appropriated to the target culture, and becomes risk-free in terms of spelling and publishing errors.

During the redaction of the translation for the advertising process, the text is examined meticulously and edited in a creative way to reach out to the “target audience”. It is of great importance to work together with customers and share ideas in order to determine the most creative and catchy way to communicate the intended message; and this is what we call customer-oriented translation.
